Sigma hat offiziell das neue 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art Objektiv für Sony E-Mount und L-Mount angekündigt. Der Preis für dieses Objektiv beträgt in den USA 1.199 US-Dollar. Das Veröffentlichungsdatum für dieses Objektiv ist der 31. Mai 2024.
Das Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art ist ein neues Objektiv, das seinen Vorgänger in mehrfacher Hinsicht verbessert. Trotz eines ähnlichen Designs mit 19 Elementen in 15 Gruppen, darunter 6 FLD- und 2 SLD-Elemente, verfügt das neue Objektiv über fünf asphärische Elemente statt drei, was auf eine neue optische Formel hindeutet. Das Objektiv ist etwas kleiner und 10% leichter als die Vorgängerversion.
Der Autofokus wird nun von einem „High-Response“ Linearmotor angetrieben und ersetzt den Schrittmotor des ursprünglichen Objektivs. Sigma behauptet, dass das neue Objektiv dank moderner Designtechniken, neuer Glasmaterialien und verbesserter Fertigungsmöglichkeiten eine verbesserte Schärfe- und Kontrastleistung bietet, was zu reduziertem Koma und verbesserten optischen Eigenschaften führt.
Der Mindestfokusabstand wurde um 1 cm auf 17 cm (6,7″) reduziert, wodurch sich das maximale Abbildungsverhältnis von 0,34x auf 0,37x erhöht. Das Objektiv behält seinen Filtergewindedurchmesser von 82 mm bei. Zu den Verbesserungen der Handhabung gehören eine zweite AFL-Taste, ein Schalter zum Verriegeln des Blendenrings und ein Schalter zum Entriegeln der Bewegung des Blendenrings.
